cientific work is a source of unique intellectual property with huge application potential. Scientists play a key role in its early detection.
We have prepared a series of seminars offering a basic orientation in the issue of applying the results of research in practice, which is also called the transfer of knowledge and technology: What is considered as an intellectual property and who has rights to it? What can be the results of research, the criteria that indicate its application potential and what needs to be done to make the result a product used in the market?
We will show you the role of patent documents and how the form of a patent can be used in the legal protection of the result, in its application and last but not least we will think about three basic forms of getting the result into practice – cooperation, licensing or starting a new company.
