How to get support

You can receive support if you have previous experience in carrying out research and development (R&D) within your own capacities or by purchasing R&D services from research organisations, but have not yet developed your own R&D activities. In practice, this means that support can be given, for example, to the development of new areas of digitisation and their use in industry and services, projects supporting the distribution of products under the Industry 4.0 initiative, the use of new technologies in the automotive industry and other key sectors such as robotics, artificial and digital technologies or nanotechnologies. Each entity can submit only one project proposal in the 10th TREND call for proposals.

Maximum amount of support – 70%

The expected allocation of the subsidy for this competition has not yet been set by the TA ČR. The maximum amount of public aid is CZK 25 million per project, with a maximum of 70% of eligible costs per project. You can carry out projects on your own or in collaboration with other companies or a research organisation. Eligible costs can include personnel costs (including stipends), subcontracting, other direct costs or indirect costs.

Applications accepted from 6 April

According to the published preliminary parameters, applications will be accepted from 6 April to 24 May 2023. The projects themselves must start between January and March 2024, and the duration of the project should be between 12 and 30 months. The earliest date for completion of the project is June 2026.

More information and all conditions for submitting a project proposal in the tender documentation will be published by TA ČR on the day of the announcement of the competition.
