The international community of transfer agents met this year in Tallinn, Estonia. The annual conference of ASTP, Europe’s leading association of technology and knowledge transfer professionals, was attended by CeTTAV colleagues in the Estonian capital. The event has the status of the largest transfer conference in Europe.

The road to success or the direct conversion of methane to methanol
The transfer of a new compact method for converting methane to methanol, developed by a team of scientists led by Jiri Dedecek, has a great chance of being applied in industry. In the search for partners for industrial use, scientists from the J. Heyrovsky Institute of Physical Chemistry of the CAS are cooperating with transfer engineers from the Centre for Technology Transfer of the CAS (CeTTAV). The method could, for example, make fuel cheaper.
